This past April I went on a photography retreat hosted by Erin Johnson Photography called God+Life+Photography. This retreat took place at the Lake Superior Barn in Wisconsin. One couple volunteered to model for an engagement workshop, and the other a wedding workshop. Jason and Kelly were of course the engagement couple. Funny thing is they were not engaged at the time, but got engaged a few weeks after the retreat. There was still snow on the ground since it was the day after one of our famous snow storms.
Here are Jason and Kelly. She had the brought the cutest outfits!

Intimate photos are best interpreted in black and white, focusing on the heat, passion, and emotion that the couple is feeling.
There’s something so sweet and innocent about couples just simply holding hands.
You know he’s the one when he becomes your best friend, and can make you laugh in any situation.
I can’t help myself when it comes to close, intimate moments. They are my favorite!
After a few hours of photographing we decided to stop because Kelly was freezing in all of her adorable clothes. The girls on the retreat brought them inside, made coffee and hot chocolate, and talked for a while before they left. Jason and Kelly have three daughters. All of them so beautiful. They were such a funny couple, keeping all of us laughing.
